The theme of World Cancer Day is “I am and I will” to let individuals and companies show how they are committed to act in preventing cancer. In 2020, biosyn joined the organizers in the initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in speaking out and standing up for a cancer-free world and shared its own stories like those by its production manager Dr. Büchler and its favorite sea snail.
That biosyn acts on this commitment is evidenced by its ongoing research and wide range of products with oncological applications in hepatic cancer, bladder cancer recurrence, cancer-related lymphedema and breast cancer to name a few.
Now, leading into the ultimate year of the UICC’s “I Am and I Will’ campaign, biosyn renews its commitment to cooperation and collective action in the fight against cancer with its corporate poster: “I am a German-based biotech company. Ever since my founding, I have been dedicated to the discovery and development of pharmaceuticals, medicine and dietary supplements that help humanity. For over 30 years, my team of microbiologists, medical scientists and communication experts has been able to utilize advancements in microbiology, immunology and the medical sciences. By developing products that improve public health in general and confer benefits to cancer patients in particular, we have made important steps, but know that the struggle is not over yet. That is why our motto ‘We are research’ drives us to continue searching for new avenues to apply our efficacious, ecological and well-tolerated products that are available in 27 countries around the world. I am a biotech company and I will keep on researching to find ways to help prevent and alleviate cancer.”
